Alicia Lozano, 76 of Vernon, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024,  in Vernon, Texas.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 10:00 am at New Hope Baptist Church in Vernon, Texas.

Alicia was born Sunday, October 26, 1947 in Coy City, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Faustino Zapata and the late Manuela Garcia Zapata. She worked maintenance at McDonalds, and she also worked at T.J.'s.  Alicia was a fabulous cook. She was a member of St. John Baptist Church in Altus, Oklahoma and at New Hope Baptist Church in Vernon, Texas.

Alicia is survived by two brothers, Domingo Zapata of Detroit, Michigan and Juan Zapata of Vernon, Texas, and two sisters, Alberta Moreno of Brownwood, Texas and Josephine Donnell of Vernon, Texas.

Alicia is preceded in death by parents, Faustino & Manuela Zapata; her son, Roland Lozano; two brothers, Isa Zapata and Jacinto Zapata, and two sisters, Mary Urrutia and Connie Reyna.
