Alicia Jean Patterson, 81 of Crowell, Texas, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at 11:00 am at Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home with Rev. Anthony Inman officiating.

Alicia was born Thursday, September 24, 1942, in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was the daughter of the late George Blackwell and the late Jeanette Sanders Blackwell. She grew up in South America and graduated from Vernon High School. She as fluent in Spanish and also tutored Spanish. She taught students with disabilities. Alicia loved dogs and she loved to dance. She was a dance instructor.

Alicia is survived by one daughter, Amy Patterson-Ehrlund & husband Mark of Spring, Texas; two grandchildren, Cody Houston Ehrlund and Casey Ehrlund McFall & husband Corey, all of Spring, Texas; one sister, Kay Carroll & husband Charles; niece, Sarah Wilhelm, and great niece and great nephew, Remi Wilhelm and Rhett Wilhelm. Alicia also leaves behind numerous other nieces and nephews.

Alicia is preceded in death by her parents, George & Jeanette Blackwell, and by her sister, Martha Wilhelm.
