With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Allen “AJ” Graves, who peacefully departed this life on Saturday August 1, 2026.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church in Chillicothe, Texas under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

AJ was born on March 19,1984. He was the son of Dianne Graves.

AJ is survived by his mother, Dianne Graves, his children Keondre Stephens, Jordon Taylor, Aidryk Biddy, Amara Biddy, Aesan Graves, and Adian Graves, his grandson Ja’kobi Stephens and his brothers Tommy Graves, Dominick Ross, and Isaiah Ross.

AJ is preceded in death by his grandmother, Charlie Mae Graves and grandfather Eddie Joe Graves, two Aunts and five uncles.

AJ had so much love for all of his children, family, and friends. He had a passion for music and loved music by Tupac Shakur. He had the experience to introduced Ludacris for a concert and had a passion for freestyling and he was very good at it. He loved football, especially the Dallas Cowboys.

AJ was attending CDL school through Enterprise transport in Fort. Worth, Tx. AJ was tough, strong-willed and never afraid to stand his ground. At times he could seem hard on the outside but those who knew him understood that beneath that tough exterior was a gentle, compassionate and incredibly kind heart. He showed his love through his actions more than words. He protected the people he cared about and gave what he could without expecting anything in return. He had a quiet kindness that many people never got the chance to see. His strength was matched by his love, and he will always have a special place in the hearts of those whom he loved and those of us that truly loved him. He will be deeply missed, but the memories he gave us will live on forever. We were so blessed to have known him, and we will always carry his memories, love and spirit with us always and forever. We love you and miss you so much Allen “AJ” Graves.
