We mournfully announce the passing of Andrew Ladd, 55, of Frisco, Texas.

Andrew passed away on January 1, 2023 after a hard-fought battle with diabetes. Andrew was born to parents, Margaret Ladd and Marvin McBride. He took his first breath on September 18th,1967. Andy was an outgoing, social, and joyful individual. He attended school in Vernon Texas. While Andy never married, he lived a full and vibrant life with more friends than you could count. His family meant more to him than words can describe. Andy worked many years at TYC (Texas Youth Commission) in Vernon Texas. Andy was an active member at New Hope Baptist, later moving to McKinney Texas he moved his membership to Eternity Community Church.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 9th at 10:00 AM at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marvin Wynne officiating under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Andy leaves to cherish his memories: Daughter, Shay Brown of Wichita Falls, TX.; brothers, Floyd Arrant of Vernon, TX., Vernon Arrant of Austin, TX., Walter Brown of Dallas, TX., Johnny Arrant of New York, Edward McBride of Lovington, NM., Daniel Phea of Kerrville, TX., Melvin Wynne of Dallas, TX., Marvin Wynne of Amarillo, TX; two sisters; Pam McBride of Reno, NV., Lola Mae Brown of Slaton, TX. He also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends near and far.

Andy is preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Ladd; father, Marvin McBride; sisters, Michelle Arrant, Mae Nora Bray, Freddie Nell Jackson and Diane Brown; beloved mother, Katherine Arrant; brother, Alfred Arrant.

Visitation will be held Sunday, January 8, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
