Anna Marie Mertink Raschke, 88 of Electra, Texas passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Harrold, Texas with Rev. Steven Brummett officiating. Interment will be at Electra Cemetery in Electra, Texas under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Anna was born Sunday, July 15, 1934 in Vernon, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Gus Mertink and the late Ida Buscha Mertink. She married Leon Erwin Raschke on April 27, 1952 in Vernon, Texas. Leon passed away on December 15, 2017.  Anna was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Harrold, Texas where she taught Sunday School, sang in the choir, and was active with the Immanuel Ladies Group. Anna farmed and ranched with her husband. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.  She loved family reunions and enjoyed playing canasta.

Anna is survived by her sons, Gary Raschke of Chillicothe, Texas, Kenneth Raschke of Electra, Texas, and Dennis Raschke & wife Demetra of Iowa Park, Texas; daughter, Lisa Singleton & husband Casey of Chillicothe, Texas; brother, Oscar Mertink of Midland, Texas; sister, Elinora Mitschke of Austin, Texas; grandson, Jeffrey Raschke & wife Kelsey; granddaughters, Angela Baka & husband Daniel, Melissa Singleton, Karla Singleton, and Rina Lagrone & husband Tommy; five great-grandchildren, Dayton, Bethany, Olivia, Caleb, and Callie.

Anna is preceded in death by her husband, Leon Erwin Raschke, her  parents, Gus and Ida Mertink, and a son, Tony Raschke.

Visitation will be Monday, December 26, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home, and also on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 1:00 pm until service at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Harrold, Texas.
