Bennie Charles Richardson, 84 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 11:00 am at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Mike Klappenbach and Mr. Charlie Jones officiating.

Bennie was born Tuesday, January 23, 1940, in Houston, Texas. He was the son of the late William Richardson and the late Linnie Parker Richardson. Bennie was a farmer, rancher, and owned and operated a landscape irrigation company. He was a member of the Santa Rosa Palomino Club, First Baptist Church, and the J Carl Smith Sunday School Class. Bennie worked hard and played hard. He enjoyed being at Lake Kemp, and he vacationed in Red River, New Mexico every summer. He liked his cats, and he was the best Granddad.

Bennie is survived by his daughter, Valerie Snead & husband Will of Amarillo, Texas; three grandchildren, Will Snead, Jr. & wife Kate of Amarillo, Texas, Ben Snead & wife Laura of Plano, Texas, and Luke Snead & wife Samantha of Amarillo, Texas, and six great grandchildren, Liam, Emerson, Charlie, Leighton, McGuire, and Graham. Bennie also leaves behind his longtime companion, Sue Walker of Vernon, Texas, and his sister-in-law, Pat Aydelott of Crowell, Texas.

Bennie is preceded in death by his parents, William & Linnie Richardson, his brother, Wayne Richardson, and his sister, Diane Agee.
