Bernardo Vega, 63 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday January 6, 2026, at 10:00am at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Toby Castleberry officiating. Burial will follow at Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Bernardo was born Monday, August 20, 1962, in Santa Rosalia Durango Mexico, to the late Silvano Vega Perez and the late Teresa Gonzalez Carrera. Bernardo married Norma Palomo in May 1994, in Vernon Texas. Bernardo worked for many years for Wright Brand Foods and Bar-S Foods. Bernardo was a team leader in Production for more than twenty-eight years. Bernardo and his family are members of the Calvary Baptist Church.

Bernardo is survived by his wife of the home, Norma, four sons, Dan Vega, Silvano Vega, Marco Palomo and Bernardo Vega, Jr., three daughters, Teresa Vega, Mari Cruz Vega and Bethany Vega: along with twenty-two grandchildren, and four brothers and five sisters.

Visitation will be held Monday from 6-7pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
