Betty Allen, 90 of Crowell, Texas passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, in Crowell, Texas.

Services will be held Friday, March 27, 2026, at 10:00 am at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home with Rev. Ric Rosalez officiating.

Betty was born Tuesday, December 24, 1935, in Wilbarger County, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Slim Downes and the late Willie Mae Contella Downes. She married Jerry Carl Allen on January 6, 1956, in Vernon, Texas.  She worked for Vernon Manufacturing for fifteen years. She also worked at the Wilbarger General Hospital in the Dietary Department and as a Home Interior saleswoman. Betty was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and attended First Baptist Church in Crowell, Texas.

Betty is survived by her son, Ronnie Allen & wife Brenda of Crowell, Texas, three grandchildren, Lacey Farris, Kinzie Robertson, and Michael Farris, and four great grandchildren, Copper, Chesney, Colow, and Faith.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Allen and her daughters, Vickie Russell and Sherry Farris.

Visitation will be Friday, March 27, 2026, at Sullivan Funeral Home from 9:00 am until graveside services begin.

Memorials may be made to Beyond Faith Hospice or Crowell Nursing Home Residents Activity Fund.
