Obituary

Beulah Jeannette Bailey, 88 of Vernon, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, in Vernon, Texas.

Graveside services will be held Friday, March 15, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home with Rev. Luke Morrison officiating.

Beulah was born Wednesday, October 9, 1935, in Jacksboro, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Edward Campbell and the late Lelah Walker Campbell. She married Ray Bailey on November 23, 1992, in Shamrock, Texas. Beulah was known as "The Princess" to her brothers, and she and her sister, Annie Jewel, were known as "The Divas' to the rest of the family. She was a collector of crystal bells and jewelry, and she loved makeup. She loved her brothers and was the backbone of the family. She had a big heart and full of strength. She was always well kept and sophisticated. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Beulah is survived by one daughter, Sherry Railsback of Vernon, Texas; one son, Bobby Railsback of Lubbock, Texas; five grandchildren, Lelah DeLosSantos, Jessica Skidmore, Katie Burgett, Lindsey Vercher, and Jana Stephens, and two brothers, Bud Campbell and Billy Ray Campbell. Beulah also leaves behind seven great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Beulah is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Bailey; five brothers, Leonard Campbell, Charlie Campbell, Edward Campbell, Jr., Jack Campbell, and Leroy Campbell; her sister, Jewel Green, and her great grandson, Jacob Cedillo.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 14, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 7:00pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
