Billie Rue Ball Bergt, 95 of Mesquite, Texas died on Saturday, July 2, 2022, in Mesquite, Texas.

Graveside service will be Friday, July 8, 2022 at 10:00 am at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Steven Brummett.

Billie was born Friday, April 1, 1927 in Marlow, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of the late Lee Ball and the late Blanche Dunn Ball. She married Ernest Hubert Otto Bergt on September 13, 1947 in Wilbarger County, he preceded her in death January 20, 1988. She was a farmer's wife helping her husband grow cotton, wheat and watermelons and she was a homemaker. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Billie is survived by her daughter, Linda Jones; Two grandchildren; Heath Jones and Angel Jones, four  great grandchildren; Bailey Jones, Hagen Jones  Matthew Jones and Cody Henneke as well as four great-great grandchildren Adalynn Jones, Case Jones, Lane Jones and Landry Jones. Numerous nieces and nephew.
