Billie Doyal Rains, 91 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Monday, May 5, 2025, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Graveside services will be held Friday, May 9, 2025, at 9:00 am at Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Rust officiating.

Billie was born Sunday, December 17, 1933, in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was the son of the late Isaac Rains and the late Margaret Ola Churchman Rains. He was a member of the U.S. Army. He retired as a construction worker specializing in cement work.

Billie is survived by his nieces and nephews, Diann Pearson, Aline Edwards, Linda Street, Scherlene Wattenbarger, Randolph Barton, Rita Kay Baker, Debra Rich, Donna Bell, Dana Hopso, Larry Rains, and Kathryn Hartmangruber.

Billie is preceded in death by his parents, Isaac & Margaret Rains, two brothers, John Allen Rains and Donald Rains, and two sisters, Bobbie Davis and Dorothy Barton.
