Bobbie Rice Inmon, 92 of Vernon, Texas, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024, in Vernon, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 10:00 am at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ric Rosalez officiating. Burial will follow at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Bobbie was born Saturday, June 13, 1931, in Hardeman County, Texas. She was the daughter of the late James Rice and the late Mattie Knight Rice. She married Sherman Eugene Inmon on August 15, 1949 in Vernon, Texas. Gene passed away September 11, 2003. Bobbie was a 1949 graduate of Vernon High School. She worked for W.T. Waggoner Estate in the oil and gas division for over fifty years. On April 25, 1991, she received the Mozelle C. Cherry Award for Outstanding Service to the Independent Oil and Gas Industry from the North Texas Oil and Gas Association. She was a member of the Vernon's Business and Professional Women. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Bobbie had a strong faith in God. She was a member of Second Baptist Church.

Bobbie is survived by her nieces and nephews, Kelli Shomaker, Kristi (Dan Mike) Bird, Vicki (Doug) Alderson, Billy Rice (Robbie Smith), Mike Rice, Deanna (Kevin) Swenson-Brown, Linda (Frank)Trotter, and Greg (Vickie) Rice. Bobbie also leaves behind numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Bobbie is preceded in death by her sister, Ruby Rice Doherty; her brother, Billy Don Rice, and her niece, Bobbie "Susie" Miller.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Sullivan Funeral Home from 9:00 am until the services begin.

Memorials can be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls or a favorite charity.
