Bobby Ray Malone, 84 of Vernon, Texas, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023, in Crowell, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 11, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Holaday officiating. Burial will follow at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Bobby was born Friday, February 24, 1939, in Lenoir City, Tennessee, He was the son of the late Bliss Malone and the late Gladys L. Harvey Malone. He married Patsy Jobe on November 12, 1971 in Vernon, Texas. Bobby retired from the United States Air Force on October 1, 1977 after twenty years of service. He worked for the military as a civilian for over ten years. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion, and St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Patsy Malone of the home; one daughter, Doris Baisey & husband Gregory of Williamsport, Maryland; one granddaughter, Katie Fey & husband J.D. of Melbourne Beach, Florida; one sister, Barbara Jones of Knoxville, Tennessee; two nephews, Joe Kelley of Lenoir City, Tennessee and Shawn Tatham of Georgia, and one niece, Emily Smith of Lenoir City Tennessee.

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Debra Kelley; one Aunt, Reece Dutton, and two cousins, Gene Malone and Hester Malone.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 10, 2023, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
