Bobby  Ray McMahen, 89 of Vernon, Texas died on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, in Vernon, Texas.

Graveside services will be held Friday, November 12, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Bobby was born Tuesday, August 16, 1932 in Vernon, Texas, he was the son of the late Ira Dyke McMahen and the late Norma Cross  McMahen. He married Thelma Louise Peninger on July 2, 1955 in Vernon, Texas she preceded him in death on June 20, 2003. He has lived in Vernon all of his life. He worked for Wrights Packing for thirty-nine years. He loved to fish, and spending time with his family.

Bobby is survived by his sons,  Danny McMahen of Universal City, TX, Bobby McMahen of Wichita Falls, TX and Jimmy McMahen of Electra, TX, one daughter, Dana McMahen of Vernon, TX. One sister Barbara Graham of San Antonio, TX. Eight grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, son Joe McMahen and a daughter Kim Allen.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
