Bobby  Lewis Michael, 72 of Vernon, Texas died on Thursday, May 26, 2022, in Vernon, Texas.

Services will be Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Danny Roten officiating. Interment will be held at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Bobby was born Saturday, May 20, 1950 in Vernon, Texas, he was the son of  Dorothy Scott  Michael and the late Frank Michael. He married Delores "Dee" Davidson Wilson on August 31, 1984 in Vernon, Texas, she preceded him in death November 24, 2007. He had worked for Vernon State Hospital as a Security Guard. He served in the US Army serving in Vietnam and Texas National Guard. He was a member of Latter-Day Saints Church.

Bobby is survived by his mother Dorothy Michael of Vernon, Texas, two  sons, Gordon Michael of Anchorage, AK and Bryce Michael of Anchorage, AK, two step-sons Ronald Wilson of Lubbock, Texas, and Eric Tavares of Seattle, WA. One brother, Ronald Michael of Sheridan, OR, two sisters, Janet Roten of Newcastle, OK and Tracy Yates of Hemlock, OR; 6 grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 1:00 pm till service time at Sullivan Funeral Home.

Memorials can be made to VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Disable American Veterans' Association or Paralyzed Veterans' Association
