Bradley Lane Lemons, 55, of Seymour, Texas, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025, in Seymour, Texas.

Bradley was born on Friday, July 31, 1970, in Pasadena, Texas. He was the son of the late Woody Frank Lemons and the late Paula Shirlene Sparks Lemons. He was a 1988 graduate of Vernon High School and subsequently received his bachelor's degree in art from the University of North Texas. He also earned his pilot's license at the age of seventeen. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Vernon, Texas.

Born with a creative soul and adventurous spirit, Bradley found beauty in the world around him—especially in the majestic mountains of Colorado, where he lived for twenty-six years, and in the serene views overlooking Lake Kemp from his back porch, where he spent the final year of his life. The landscapes that surrounded him daily often became the inspiration for his art, brought to life through the vibrant colors and unmistakable originality that defined his work.

His artistic talent didn't stop at the canvas—Bradley also had a penchant for music, excelling as a drummer. Whether he sat behind a full drum kit or a single bongo, the music he produced was rife with talent, precision, passion, and soul.

In 1998, Bradley suffered a broken neck that left him without the use of his legs, but he refused to let that defeat or define him. His resilience, optimism, and sense of humor remained unwavering, inspiring everyone who knew him. He had an extraordinary gift for finding joy in simple things and spreading infectious laughter.

More than anything, Bradley loved his family and friends. Their happiness and companionship were always his greatest priority, and his love for them all was deep and unconditional.

Bradley is survived by his son, Brady Lemons and wife, Shasta Desiree; his grandson, Brayden Luke Lemons; his brother, Lawson Lemons; two aunts, Lanette Whitley and husband, Dennis, and Joy Clark and husband, Gene; and his cousin, Lauren Luig and husband, Chad. Bradley also leaves behind his dog, Fletch.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Woody and Paula Lemons, and his cousin, Taylor Whitley.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Crowell, Texas, under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home, with Rev. John Holley officiating.
