Brent Ballard, 57 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024, in Vernon, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday August 7, 2024 at 2:00pm at the Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ric Rosalez officiating. Burial will follow at the Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Brent was born Monday, October 3, 1966 in Vernon, Texas, to the late Jerry  Ballard and the late Phyllis Querner Ballard. Brent liked to cookout and have barbecues, he liked doing yard work and sitting on the porch listening to music and visiting with his nieces and nephews.

Brent is survived by his brothers, Danny Ballard and wife Kim of Vernon, TX and Tracy Ballard of Vernon, TX. Nephews Josh Ballard and wife Sandra, Russell Ballard and wife Krysinda, Niece Shelby Ballard and husband Dylan Quinones, all of Vernon, TX. along with eight great nieces and nephews, and numerous cousins.

Brent is preceded in death by his parents Jerry and Phyllis Ballard and his grandparents Russell and Clara Querner.

Visitation will be held Tuesday August 6, 2024 from 6-7pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.

Memorials can be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Vernon.
