Brian Degan, 53 of Quanah, Texas, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2026, in Quanah, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 11:00 am at the First Methodist Church in Chillicothe, Texas, with Rev. David McDonald officiating. Burial will follow at Chillicothe Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home. 

Brian was born Friday, October 20, 1972, in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was the son of Morris Degan and the late Lou Ellen Brannon Degan. Brian was a true cowboy and enjoyed ranching. He also worked in various feed yards. 

Brian is survived by his father, Morris Degan, his daughter, Bailey Johnson & husband Jerrod of Crowell, Texas, his sons, Dakota Degan & wife Taylor and Chase Degan both of Quanah, Texas, his sisters, Sherri Melton of Quanah, Texas and Kristi Fisher & husband Bradley of Chillicothe, Texas, and his girlfriend, Kelly Brachwiz of Quanah, Texas. Brian also leaves behind his five grandchildren, Lakyn, Talen, Elayna, Tara and Oaklee.

Brian is preceded in death by his mother, Lou Degan on May 27, 2019, his sisters, Melinda and DeAnn, and his nephew, Ty Melton in 2001.

Memorials may be made to the First Methodist Church in Chillicothe, Texas.
