Carlos Perez Ocegueda, 68 of Vernon, Texas died on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Funeral Mass will be Friday, July 15, 2022 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Catholic Church with father  Phil Petta officiating. Rosary will be held Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 6:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held in Mexico.

Carlos was born Friday, January 15, 1954, in Jamay, Jal, Mexico. He was the son of the late Pablo Perez and the late Maria Ocegueda  Perez. He married  Cristina Ceja on September 4, 1973 in Mexico. He loved gardening, his grandchildren, walking at the park, he was a very funny man caring for others and he was a very generous person, he was the type of person fighting until the end warrior.

Carlos is survived by his wife Cristina Perez of the home.  His children and grandchildren and great grandchildren: Gerardo Perez, Laura Nunes; Estefany, Arturo, Joel, Melissa, and Maria Jose all from Mexico; Neli Perez, Victor Lopez, Karla, Jorje, Cristina and Fernando, Victoria all from Mexico; Manuel Perez, Maria Perez; Carlos, Fernando, Aidee all from Vernon, Texas, Rocio Castellanas, Hugo Castellanas; Jesus, Arianna all from Vernon, Texas; Maribel Salas, Jesus Salas; Emily, Sofia, and Santiago all from Vernon, Texas; Fabiola Montes, Fabian Montes; Angel and Jimena all from Vernon, Texas.
