Carol Halencak, 74 of Vernon, Texas died on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, in Vernon, Texas.

Services will be Friday, October 14, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Jim Antwine.  Interment will be held at Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Carol was born Monday, November 3, 1947 in Selma, California. She was the daughter of the late Carl Bailey and the late Sibyl Jones Bailey. She married Lonnie John Halencak on June 27, 1964 in Vernon, Texas, he preceded her in death on November 8, 2018. Carol worked at Gipson's Department Store for many years until it closed. She worked at Herring Bank until retirement. Carol was a homemaker.

Carol is survived by her daughters, Starlene Segler and husband Curtis of Electra, TX; Connie Anderson and husband Mike of Corinth, TX; and Judy Halencak of Grand Prairie, TX. Her brother, Kelly Dean Bailey of Danbury, TX; Four grandchildren; Preston McNairy, Cody Segler, Adam McNairy, and Trenton McNairy. One great grandchild Hudson Segler.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 13, 2022 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.

Memorials can be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls or Boys and Girls Club.
