Carol Leverett, 98 of Gardendale, Texas passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2023.

Graveside services will be held Monday June 19, 2023 at 11:00am at the Eastview Cemetery in Vernon, Texas.

Carol was born Monday, July 14, 1924 in Vernon, Texas, to the late Clearance Koontz and the late Lura Payne Leverett. Carol married Cletus R. Leverett on January 17, 1942 in Frederick OK. He passed away in 1992. Carol was the bookkeeper for the family business and a great cook. Carol was a member of the Temple Baptist Church.

Carol is survived by her children, Sheri Kirkland of New York, Shane Leverett and wife Debbie of Ruidoso NM. and Wayne Leverett and wife Twilla of Gardendale, TX. Along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Carol is preceded in death by her husband Cletus and one son Dale Leverett in 2005.

Visitation will be held Sunday from 6-7pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
