Catherine Louise Hill, 93 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2024, in Vernon, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday August 7, 2024 at 11:00am at the Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ric Rosalez officiating. Burial will follow at the Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Catherine was born Tuesday, August 5, 1930, in Pontotoc, County, OK. to the late Alfred Sorrels and the late Rosa Brady Sorrels. Catherine married Raymond Hill, in July 1954 in Vernon, Texas. Raymond passed away in 1990. Catherine was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church. Catherine loved to play cards and games. She loved country music. Catherine loved to collect things especially Christmas and Halloween decorations, and solar powered dancers. Everyone called her "Granny".

Catherine is survived by her children, Donna J Hill Guyotte and husband Thomas of Vernon, TX., Debra Hill of Vernon, TX. Richard Hill and wife Tammie of Lubbock, TX. and Robert Hill and wife Cheryl, of Tioga, TX. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Tracey, Leigha, Laura, Lynn, Courtenay, Drew, Cheyenne, Sierra, Brandon, Josh, Joshua, and Nicole. Thirteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Catherine is preceded in death by her husband Raymond, her brothers, Jim, John and Bill Sorrels, her sisters Jean Flynn and Pat Byrd.

Visitation will be held Tuesday August 6, 2024 from 6-7pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
