CB Sparkman, 66, of Gainesville, Texas passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025, in Justin, Texas.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, at 11:00 am at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ernest Newman and Rev. Willie King officiating. Burial will follow at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

CB was born Sunday, June 28, 1959, in Thalia, Texas. He was the son of the late Charles Sparkman, Sr. and the late Floria Mae Stewart Sparkman. CB grew up in the Five and One community, and he went to Crowell High School. He was very athletic and was an awesome football and basketball player. He was a jack of all trades, and he loved to sing and dance. He was very well known in the Vernon community, and everyone has a story about him.

CB is survived by four brothers, Howard Ray Sparkman of Vernon, Texas, Elbert Ray Sparkman & wife Tammy of Gainesville, Texas, Thomas Sparkman of Fort Worth, Texas and Steve Sparkman & wife Paula of Mansfield, Texas, and six sisters, Betty Lewis of Fort Worth, Texas, Letha Sparkman of Vernon, Texas, Mae Joyce Sparkman of Fort Worth, Texas, Carolyn Richardson, & husband Gary of Houston, Texas, Cathy Richardson of Vernon, Texas and Charlotte Hall & husband Deon of Fort Worth, Texas. CB also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.

CB is preceded in death by his parents, Charles & Floria Mae Sparkman, his brother, Charles Sparkman, Jr., and his brothers-in-law, Richard Lewis and Dan Richardson.
