We mourn the passing of Celeste Nadine Hockenjos Riddle, beloved daughter of Martha McCoy Hockenjos and Charles Hockenjos. Born March 21, 1962, she passed peacefully on February 18, 2026. She was married to James Riddle and a selfless, loving mother to six children: Brandy Metcalf and husband James, Amber Riddle, Richard Gordon, Anthony Gordon and his fiancée Christina Saldana, Cameron McKenzie and her husband Mac, and Randy Riddle with his wife Melissa. A proud grandmother to many, Celeste was a devout Christian, believing in Jesus, and she went home to be with our Father in Heaven. She is survived by her sisters, Martha Henderson Harris, Liz Gantt, and Denise Ware, and preceded in death by Janet McClure, Shawn Garrison, Timothy Hockenjos, Hoyle "Buddy" Ware III, and Aaron Hamill. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

Memorial services will be held Friday, February 27, 2026, at 2:00 pm at East to West Baptist Church under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home with Pastor Curtis Rutledge officiating.

Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
