Chadwick Duane Thomas, 48 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2024, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Chad was born Friday, December 12, 1975, in Vernon, Texas. He was the son of the late Dewayne Young and Celestine Thomas Young. Chad worked for Tyson Foods in the shipping department.

Chad is survived by his mother, Celestine Young; two sons, Chadwick Thomas, Jr and Christian Thomas both of Vernon, Texas; two grandchildren, Kenai Thomas and Jalijah Blu O'Keefe; one brother, Tra Thomas of Vernon, Texas; aunts and uncles, Evangeline Street, Melody Young, Gladys Thomas, Robert Thomas, Jack Thomas, Patrick Thomas, Christopher Thomas, and Anita Thomas; two stepchildren, Taylin and Sedric Brown, and their mother, Chrissy Brown. Chad also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.

Chad is preceded in death by his father, Dewayne Young; grandmothers, Francis Thomas, and Daisy Young, and grandfathers, Eugene Young, and Jack Thomas.

Visitation will be Friday, February 9, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.

Memorials can be made to the Booker T. Washington Community Center, Vernon, Texas.
