Charlotte Marion Clarkson, 73 of Vernon, Texas died on Saturday, October 30, 2021, in Vernon, Texas.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 3:00 pm at Bell Cemetery in Odell, Texas under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Irl Holt.

Charlotte was born Saturday, January 17, 1948 in Tyler, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Charles Marion Clarkson and the late Ruth Lee Hamilton  Clarkson. She was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School in Midland, in 1966 and a graduate of North Texas University and she taught school at Northside ISD. She was a retired educator and was involved in farming and ranching. She was a member of Fargo Methodist Church.

Charlotte is survived by her sisters Paula Clarkson of Vernon, TX and Betty Ruth Conkling of Fort Worth, TX. Two nieces and one nephew, and two great nieces and four great nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Richard Hamilton August 13, 1982.

Visitation will be Wednesday at 1:30 pm till 2:30 PM before service time at  Sullivan Funeral Home.
