Claire (Goodrum) Koehn, 70, of Amarillo, TX, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, June 26th 2022.

Claire was born on February 9,1952 in Vernon, TX. She was the fourth child of JL and Johnnie (Best) Goodrum. She loved her family and doted on her two grandchildren. Claire was a giving selfless soul who never knew a stranger and went out of her way to welcome everyone. She had such an artistically creative spirit and loved to see the beauty and wonder in things; she was an avid collector of Betty Boop and Elvis memorabilia. There was never a shortage of food as Claire loved to cook for the ones she loved. She will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Claire is survived by her 2 children, son Michael Koehn and his wife Brenda of Amarillo, TX; daughter Karen (Koehn) Ulep and her husband Tony; 4 grandchildren, Tony Ulep Jr. of Elk Grove CA, Harrison Decker of Amarillo, TX, Madylin Koehn of Amarillo, TX, and Vincent Ulep of Elk Grove, CA; brothers, John Goodrum and Henry Goodrum of Vernon, TX; as well as her many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents JL and Johnnie and her sister Dorothy.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 6th, 2022 at 10:00am at Eastview Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home. There will be a private viewing for the family at 9am.
