Robert Clayton Powell, 32, of Electra, Texas, passed away on May 18th, 2023. He was born on July 31st, 1990, to Melissa Pool and Robert Powell. He graduated from Iowa Park High School in 2008, being an active member of the Ag Department and the FFA. Clayton went on to work at the W.T. Waggoner Ranch. Clayton had a life-long love for animals, motorcycles, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.

Clayton was a kind and generous man. He was always willing to help others, and he always had a smile on his face. He loved spending time with his family and friends and riding his motorcycle. He was a 15-8 for Shockers MC and then joined the Deadset Motorcycle Club in January of 2023 and quickly became a well-respected member and gained an enormous family. He was known for his loyalty, sense of humor, willingness to help others, and larger-than-life smile that would peek through his highly prized red beard.

Clayton is survived by his wife, Leslie; his children, Zane Powell and Zoee Powell; his bonus children, Gabriel Powell and EJ Knight. He is also survived by his parents, Melissa and Dwight Pool of Sherman, Texas; his siblings, Lyndsey Turner and husband Larry of Bells, Texas; Kraig Pool and his wife Emily of Iowa; grandparents; nieces and nephews; his extended family and many friends. Clayton was predeceased by his grandfather, Robert Courtney.

Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects to the family between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Thursday, May 25th, 2023, at Sullivan Funeral Home in Vernon, Texas. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 26th, 2023, at 3:00 PM at the First Methodist Church in Vernon, Texas.

Clayton will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was a loving husband, father, and friend. He will always be remembered for his kind heart, generous spirit, and love of life.
