Conception "Conchita" Cantu, 84 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Conchita was born Wednesday, May 15, 1940, in Litchfield Park, Arizona. She was the daughter of the late Adolfo Alcantar and the late Maria Venegas Alcantar. She was married to Carmel Cantu. She worked for Outreach Home Health, and she was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Conchita is survived by five sons, Greg Cantu of Mount Dora, Florida, Adolfo Cantu of Vernon, Texas, Adam Cantu of Graham, Texas, Gasper Cantu of Delaware, and Jose Cantu of Vernon, Texas; one stepson, Ignacio Cantu and five daughters, Jenny Brown of New York, Virginia Cantu of Vernon, Texas, Monica Meza of Vernon, Texas, Maria Denova of Vernon, Texas and Lupe Cisneros of Tennessee. Conchita also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Conchita is preceded in death by her husband Carmel Cantu, her son, Manuel Cantu, and her stepson, Carmelo Cantu.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 1, 2025, from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
