Connie Alvarez Gibbs, 71 of Vernon, Texas died on Sunday, December 26, 2021, in Vernon, Texas.

There will be no service at this time.

Connie was born Saturday, August 26, 1950 in Stamford, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Emiterio Alvarez and the late Rose Gonzales  Alvarez. She worked for Ft. Worth Credit Union before her retirement. She loved the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys.

She is survived by her grandchildren Nick, Johnathan,  Erin, and Stevie Ray. Ex-husband Johnny Steve Chavez of Vernon,

She is preceded in death by two sons Steven Bradley Chavez, and John Aaron Chavez.
