Cristin Raye Leasure Reyna, 46, of Vernon, Texas, crossed over to the heavenly side on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 31, 2026, at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church, 2003 Fannin St., in Vernon, Texas. Interment will follow at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Cristin was born on January 30, 1980, to Ray and Marylin Leasure in Hereford, Texas. She graduated from Hereford High School in 1998, attended Texas Tech University and later achieved her LVN degree at Amarillo College in 2005. She earned her RN degree at Vernon College in 2015. Cristin has a Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration, Bachelor of Science Nursing Degree, and she was currently working on her Masters of Nurse Practioner’s at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Cristin had a passion for nursing, helping people and made it her life’s career. She loved and cherished her family, and she was always there for them.

Cristin is survived by her parents, Ray & Marylin Leasure of Vernon, Texas, her brother, Ryan Leasure of Vernon, Texas, her sons, Brandon (Megan) Reyna, Nicholas Whatley III, and Harris Lee, her daughter, Nakayla Whatley, her granddaughters, Leilani and Ridley Barnes all of Vernon, Texas, the love of her life, Michael Gene Lee, Jr., her grandmother, Erma Murphey of Hereford, Texas, uncles Darrell (Janie) Murphey of Odessa, Texas, Dean (Kristi) Murphey of Blanchard, Oklahoma, her aunts, Cynthia Allison and Lanette Leasure both of Amarillo, Texas, Carla (Doug) Rampley and Jackie Murphey both of Hereford, Texas and numerous cousins, special friends, family, and coworkers.

Cristin was preceded in death by her grandparents, C.E. Leasure, Jr., Louise Leasure Coombes, and Tommy Murphey, her uncles, Steve Leasure and Earnie Murphey, her bonus grandfather, John Coombes and her aunt, Dorothy Coombes.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 30, 2026, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.

Memorials may be given to the Boys & Girls Club of Vernon.
