Danny Lee Billy, 62 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Toby Castleberry officiating.  Interment will be at Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Danny was born Sunday, September 11, 1960 in Lawton, Oklahoma. He was the son of the late Simon G. Billy and the late Margaret L. Wesley Billy. He married Donna Watson in Frederick, Oklahoma, and they happily shared forty-two years together. Danny was the manager of Kelly Propane in Vernon, Texas for numerous years. He was very involved with the Kid League Ball Park and the Boys & Girls Club of Vernon. He played on serval traveling softball teams, and he taught softball and basketball skills to several area youths.  He enjoyed camping.  Danny was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Vernon, Texas.

Danny is survived by his wife, Donna Billy of the home; daughter, Twaleena Watson-Weddle & husband Daniel of Vernon, Texas; grandson, Haydn Weddle of Vernon, Texas; brothers, Doyle Billy of Wright City, Oklahoma, Delton Billy of Rattan, Oklahoma, and Bert Billy of Idabel, Oklahoma; sisters, Doris Winship of Vernon, Texas, Mary "Sissy" Johnson of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Olene Honanie of Idabel, Oklahoma, Doreen "Ludie" Cusher of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Darlene "Fatty" Tisho of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, and Naomi Billy of Idabel, Oklahoma, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to Lions Club Kid League and the Boys & Girls Club of Vernon.
