Danny Wayne Sargent, 71 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Funeral services will be scheduled at a later date.

Danny was born Monday, September 7, 1953, in Greenbrier, Arkansas. He was the son of the late Hubert Sargent, Sr. and the late Geneva Freeman Sargent. He worked for Wright Brand Foods. He was very good with his hands, and he could fix anything.

Danny is survived by three brothers, David Sargent of Lawton, Oklahoma, James Sargent of Hobart, Oklahoma and Charlie Sargent of Childress, Texas, and three sisters, Kathy Hardin of Vernon, Texas, Dorthy Chaves of Hobart, Oklahoma and Stephanie Cantrell of Vernon, Texas. Danny also leaves behind his very close friends, Alan & Gay Lynn Samson.
