David John Pring, 64 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, in Vernon, Texas.

Memorial services will be held Monday, July 14, 2025, at 11:00 am at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Toby Castleberry officiating.

David was born Thursday, December 29, 1960, in Surrey, England. He was the son of the late John Pring and the late Dorothy Pain Pring. In his early years, he attended university and studied to be an agricultural mechanic. He came to Vernon in 1981 as part of an international agricultural program. He married Lorrie Fisher on October 31, 1984, in Vernon, Texas. He retired from AEP after thirty three years of dedicated service. After retirement, he worked at Wilbarger International Airport where he was able to work with various aircraft and wonderful people, which brought him great joy. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, shooting the breeze with his friends, all things aviation, and working out.

David is survived by his wife, Lorrie Pring, two sons, Chris Pring & wife Sara of Maryland and Josh Pring & wife Jamie of the Waggoner Ranch, two sisters, Sally Allen and Jill Rein both of England, and his stepmother, Maureen Pring of England. David also leaves behind six grandchildren, Logan, Caleb, Mason, Levi, Kieren, and Madi.
