Deborah Louise Burdette - (Debi)

January 10,1953 - December 16, 2023

Deborah was an accomplished academic and musician, graduating with high honors at every step, including receiving her master's degree in Educational Psychology.

She lived in Germany for a number of years where she received her bachelor's degree. Her multilingual skills and quick wit made her a beloved tour guide, a job she relished. Each December she would spend much of the month playing the piano at the Christmas Markets in Frankfurt.

Deborah found joy in playing piano and singing, gracing the church with her talents in music in her early life. She was a dedicated teacher for special needs students. Beyond her love for music and education, Deborah had a profound affection for animals. She found solace in the company of furry friends, embodying a tender spirit through adopting and providing a forever home for countless pets over the years.

She is survived by her two children, of whom she was a proud mother, her sister and brother, her nieces, many grandnieces and grandnephews, numerous cousins, and her dear longtime companion Tommy Wilson.

The family will be having a private memorial service and requests donations to the Wilbarger County Humane Society in lieu of flowers.
