Dee Boyd , 80 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Friday, June 24, 2022,  in Vernon, Texas.

Graveside services will be held Monday June 27, 2022 at 11:00am at the Eastview Cemetery with Rev. Toby Castleberry officiating under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Dee was born Thursday, April 30, 1942 in Vernon, Texas. to the late Finis Boyd and the late Eunice Swanson Boyd. Dee married Loretta Bagley on February 22, 1962 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Loretta passed away February 11, 2017. Dee started his career with Amerada Hess Corporation and H.C. Leach, for the last forty-five years he has owned and operated Dee Boyd Well Service. He was a member of Second Baptist Church.

Dee is survived by his sons, Randy Boyd of Vernon, TX and Ricky Boyd of Wichita Falls, TX, and one daughter, Rhonda Lott of Vernon, TX, one brother, Clinton Boyd of San Marcos, TX; Dee also leaves behind four grandchildren; four great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by one brother S.M. "Tiny" Boyd , his wife Loretta Boyd and his parents Finis and Eunice Boyd.

Visitation will be Monday June 27 ^th at 10am until service time.
