Dennis Allen Yost, 73 of Vernon, Texas formally of Sterling, CO. died on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, in Vernon, Texas.

Services will be held under the direction of Chaney-Reager Funeral Home in Sterling, CO.

Dennis was born Saturday, January 31, 1948 in Sterling, Colorado, he was the son of the late Henry Allen Yost and the late Lois Mae Miller Yost. He married Deanne Goddard on September 21, 1968 in Sterling, Co. He had lived in Vernon TX. since November of 2020, from 1970-2018 he owned and operated Yost Construction Company  in Sterling, CO., He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Sterling.

Dennis is survived by his wife Deanne Yost of the home. two  daughters, Michelle Marie Henry of Crowell, TX and Dana Dee Dunkerson of Grain Valley, MO; Four grandchildren Shelby Renae Henry, Brayden Allen Henry, Bode Dennis Dunkerson and Cade Robert Dunkerson.
