Diana Guerra Negrete, 59 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024, in Wichita Falls, Texas.
A family service will be scheduled at a later date.
Visitation is Friday, February 16, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel.
Diana was born Friday, July 17, 1964, in Clinton, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Jesus Ignacio Guerra and Manuela Lira Guerra. She married Roberto Negrete in 1980 in Vernon, Texas. She was a well trusted and respected caregiver. She loved music, and she loved to sing. She enjoyed visiting her kids, and spending time at the farm with her husband. She enjoyed watching the sunset, and drinking morning coffee with her parents. Diana was one of a kind and someone you could count on. She was Catholic.
Diana is survived by her husband, Roberto Negrete of the home; two sons, Roberto Michael Negrete & wife Luciana of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Israel Jesus Negrete of Vernon, Texas; one daughter, Crystal Nicole Negrete & husband Rocky McCutchen of Abilene, Texas; grandchildren, Janiece Negrete, Cambryn Negrete, Laryssa Villarreal, Victor Gutierrez, IV, Axton Marines, Nalyla McCutchen, and Violet McCutchen, and a great grandchild on the way, Trae Cherry. Diana also leaves behind her parents, Jesus and Manuela Guerra; five siblings, Enedina Mejia, Yolanda Guerra & husband Rudy, David Guerra, Patricia Anzaldua & husband Ernest, and Jesse Guerra, Jr.; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Luciano & Amelia Negrete, and her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Martin Negrete & wife Lupe, Marcos Negrete & wife Elizabeth, Lorenzo Negrete & wife Velia, Rosa Negrete, Lucy Ibarra & husband Jose, Valentin Negrete & wife Alma, Aquilino Negrete, Luis Negrete & wife Erica, and Jesus Negrete & wife Diana.
Diana is preceded in death by her grandparents, Marcelo Lira and Patricia Lira.
