Don Betts, 83 of Vernon, Texas died on Saturday, November 6, 2021, in Vernon, Texas.

Graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home. Officiating will be Mickey Hollars.

Don was born  Friday, May 13, 1938 in Atoka, Oklahoma, he was the son of the late Earl Betts and the late Lena Leonard  Betts. He married Nancy Huffman on January 1, 1959 in Vernon, Texas. He was owner and operator of Don Betts Automotive.

Don is survived by his wife Nancy Betts of the home. His daughter, Julie Muniz and husband Henry of Waller, TX, sister, Janice Lanier of Jasper, TX; Four grandchildren Kristy Monroe, Jeff Kidd and wife Kristy, Ignacio Kidd and wife Becky and Jeremy Muniz and wife Ashley. Numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.

Memorial can be made to Wilbarger County Humane Society.
