Donald "Don" Hemry, a devoted husband, and loving father, passed peacefully at United Regional in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was 74.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at11:00 am at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Kelly Rogers and Mr. Russell McCurley officiating.

Donald also known as Skinny Don was born on Sunday, August 13, 1950, in St. Paul, MN.  He was the son of the late Norman and Inga Hemry. He graduated from Roosevelt High School and joined the US Army. Donald married the love of his life Mary Hemry on May 6, 1974.

Donald loved to play golf, read, paint, draw, ride his bike, and write in his journal, but most of all he loved his family. He was a jack of all trades from serving in the army, driving semi-trucks, school bus, gas attendant, and historic reenactments, but the one he enjoyed was clowning around and making people laugh.

He is survived by his five children, Penney Salinas and her husband Freddie Salinas, Chris Hemry, Timothy Hemry and his wife Tesha Hemry, Gerald Hemry and his wife Crystal Hemry, Heidi Kincheloe and her husband WG Kincheloe. His grandchildren Darrell Stewart, Kathleen Stewart, Carrie Salinas, Ashley Stewart, Titiyana Bates, David Salinas, Detric Hemry, Treana Bates, Stevie Back, Stephawn Bates, Destinies Stewart, Z Kincheloe, Treveon Hemry, Tierra Hemry, Gerald Hemry Jr, Hannah Salinas, Thomas Hemry, Gabriel Hemry, Terrence Hemry, Caidance Hemry, Reighlynn Stewart, Kairi Kincheloe, Garrett Hemry and his great-grandchildren.

Donald is preceded in death by his father and mother, his beloved wife, granddaughter Mary, great-grandson Archer, and great-granddaughter Loreleii.
