Donna Gwynn Karcher, 78 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024, in Vernon, Texas.

Graveside services will be held Friday, December 27, 2024, at 3:00 pm at Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home with Pastor Steven Brummett officiating.

Donna was born September 28, 1946, in Vernon, Texas. She was the daughter of the late E.H. Richie, Jr. and the late Helen Lewis Richie. She married Douglas Karcher on August 21, 1966, in Vernon, Texas. Donna worked for Karcher Oil Company and retired from the North Texas State Hospital. She enjoyed trips to Cozumel. She loved her children and taking care of her family. She was a hard worker, great mother, and she was a wonderful wife.

Donna is survived by her husband, Douglas Karcher of the home; two children, Scott Karcher & wife Kathryn of Amarillo, Texas and Christie Jones & husband Scott of Royce City, Texas; three grandchildren, Ryan Karcher, Emily Karcher, and Miranda Armstrong & husband Alex, and one great grandchild, Blakely Laine Armstrong. Donna also leaves behind her sister-in-law, Debbie Phipps.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, Helen & E.H. Richie, Jr., her brother. M.H. Richie, and her sister, Wanda Davidson.

Memorials can be given to Lockett High School Scholarship Fund in care of Vernon College.
