Dora Marie Ramirez, 61 of Vernon, Texas passed, away on Monday, April 15, 2024, in Dallas, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 22, 2024, at 10:00 am at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Matt Davila officiating. Burial will follow at Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Dora was born Tuesday, August 21, 1962, in Fentress, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Francisco Jose Rodriguez and the late Celia Palacias Rodriguez. She married Patricio Valverde Ramirez on August 22, 1977 in Vernon, Texas.

Dora is survived by four sons, Isaias Ramirez & Kimberley Ramirez of Wichita Falls, Texas, Juan Ramirez & wife Vicki of Wichita Falls, Texas, Timothy Ramirez & Rosa Castillo of Vernon, Texas, and Jonathan Ramirez & wife Crystal of Wichita Falls, Texas; five brothers, Armando Rodriguez & wife Brenda of Frederick, Oklahoma, Francisco "Joe" Rodriguez of Snyder, Texas, Daniel Rodriquez & wife Alice of Vernon, Texas, Abel Rodriguez & wife June of Lubbock, Texas, and Bobby Rodriguez & wife Charise of Arizona, and four sisters, Emilia Ortiz & husband Frank of Vernon, Texas, Elinda Perales & husband Michael of Corpus Christi, Texas, Sylvia Hernandez & husband Porfirio of Vernon, Texas, and Kno Peso "Becky" Lawrence of Vernon, Texas. Dora also leaves behind sixteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Patricio Ramirez, and two sisters, Gloria Gutierrez and Estella Rodriguez.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 21, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
