Doris Quisenberry, 85 of Vernon, Texas died on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, in Vernon, Texas.

Services will be Monday, December 6, 2021 at 11:00 am at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held at Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Doris was born Tuesday, September 8, 1936 in Vernon, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Earnest Krieg and the late Minnie Koch Krieg. She married Eddie Foy Quisenberry on December 4, 1953 in Vernon, he preceded her in death November 13, 2013. She was a resident of Wilbarger County all of her life. She attended school in Lockett, Texas, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church of Vernon. She was a homemaker.

Doris is survived by her  son, Dennis Quisenberry of Vernon, TX, daughters, Brenda Eddy of Vernon, TX, Sharon Quisenberry of Vernon, TX and Karen Quisenberry of Vernon, TX, sisters, Rosie Coble of Vernon, TX and Ruby Gillespie of Vernon, TX. Eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Eddie Dale Quisenberry, daughter Barbara Gail Seale and two brothers Floyd Krieg and Herbert Krieg.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 5, 2021 at 6:00 to 7:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
