Eddie Royce Duncan, 82 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, in Dallas, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 16, 2025, at 2:00 pm at East to West Baptist Church with Rev. Curt Rutledge officiating. Burial will follow at Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Eddie was born Tuesday, November 3, 1942, in Vernon, Texas. He was the son of the late Elvis Duncan and the late Beatrice Farrington Duncan. He married Barbara Ann Lane on August 22, 1959, in Vernon, Texas. Eddie was the owner of Duncan's Smokehouse. He also worked part time at the Vernon VFW, Vernon Manufacturing, and the Vernon State Hospital. He was a member of the East to West Baptist Church.

Eddie is survived by his son, Eddie L. Duncan & wife Beverly of Prosper, Texas, his brother, Robert Duncan of Royse City, Texas, and his sister, Georgia Hamilton of Riviera, Texas. Eddie also leaves behind nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Eddie is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann Duncan, two sons, Kevin Duncan and James Duncan, his daughter, Jennifer Ann Duncan, and his sister, Lillie Mae Ogerly.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 15, 2025, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
