Obituary

Edward Bryan "Pop" Taylor , Sr. age 55 of Vernon, TX. died on Tuesday, September 27, 2022  at his home. He was born April 4, 1967 in Salisbury, Maryland. He fought a long hard fight for the past eighteen months, after a motorcycle accident. Everyday he pushed though his healing process. Always saying, "One day I'm going back to work". He never gave up that hope of returning to work with the guys from the maintenance department at Tyson.

He loved his Baltimore Ravens and hanging out in his shop with the guys. But after he got his first motorcycle that became his passion. He would say that he had a true sense of freedom while riding. It brought him great happiness. Many times, he told his wife, if it's my time to go, I want to go on my bike.

Bryan is survived by his wife Michelle Kollmar Taylor of Vernon, TX. two daughters Tabitha Taylor (Kenneth Burns), and Grace Taylor both of Vernon, TX., one son Edward Taylor, Jr. of Vernon, TX. two step-sons Cameron Kollmar (Shamma) and Chase Kollmar both of Vernon, TX., his mother Bettie Ruark of Vernon, TX. Two brothers David Clay of Kansas and Sean Ruark of Vernon, TX., two sisters-in-law Teressa and Clint Jones of Vernon, TX., and  Chastity and Scott Swan of Quanah, TX., and four grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his sister Juanita Weaver and a nephew Jason Weaver.

"Pop" did not want a service to be held, he wanted everyone to remember him as a happy fun-loving guy. His wishes were to be cremated and his ashes taken back to Maryland.
