Elaine Joyce Mask Elkins, 84 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025, in Vernon, Texas.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, January 23, 2025, at 10:00 am at Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home with Rev. Ric Rosalez officiating.

Elaine was born Monday, February 26, 1940, in Houston, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Robert B. Mask and the late Ozetta Hughes Mask. She married Joe Elkins on November 28, 1969, in Vernon, Texas. She was a graduate of Magnolia High School. She also went to Nursing School in Conroe, Texas. She worked as an LVN for the North Texas State Hospital and the Wilbarger General Hospital. She was a member of the Licensed Vocational Nurses Association and the Garden Club of Huntsville, Texas.

Elaine is survived by two daughters, Darla Willingham White of Vernon, Texas and Debbie Hawkins & husband Lonnie of Garland, Texas; eight grandchildren, Stacey Jo Gilchrist & husband James, Jason Maldonado & wife April, Haley Wright & husband Trey, Brittany White, Trevor Hawkins, Jordan Willingham, Jenna Willingham, and Jaley Willingham, and her daughter-in-law, Jada Willingham. Elaine also leaves behind thirteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Elaine is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Elkins, her son, Randy Willingham, her brother, Don Robert Mask, and her sister, Laurita Guiott.

Visitation is Wednesday, January 22, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on at Sullivan Funeral Home.
