Elane Dora Garcia, 49 of Evansville, Indiana formerly of Vernon, Texas passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023, in Evansville, Indiana.

A visitation will be held Wednesday December 27, 2023 from 2:00-4:00pm at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel.

Elane was born Sunday, December 15, 1974 in Lubbock, Texas, to Santos Perez Garcia and Janie Gonzalez Garcia. She was a graduate of Vernon High School and she was a member of New Life Baptist Church. When Elane would walk into a room, she would light it up with her contagious laughter and smile. She had the biggest heart and was very protective of her family, and she was always a daddy's girl.

Elane is survived by her two daughters, Andi Wagner and Alix Wagner of Evansville, IN, her father Santos Garcia of Lockett, TX. her brothers and sister, Santos Garcia, Jr. of Wichita Falls, TX and Israel Garcia of Vernon, TX, sister, Julie Martinez of Wichita Falls, TX. Elane also leaves behind her nieces and nephews, Jessy, Franky, Liliana, Kian, Isaiah, Bella, Cruz and Kika, great nieces and nephews Jaime, Zeke, Jaxon, Josie, Ry'lynn, Ry'ana and Ry'zavaeh and her adopted niece Haylee Brummett.

Elane is preceded in death by her mother Janie Garcia.
