Elizabeth Guggisberg, 84 of Vernon, Texas died on Saturday, January 1, 2022, in Vernon, Texas.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Zion Lutheran Church with Rev. Steven Brummett officiating. Interment will be held at Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Elizabeth was born Friday, October 29, 1937 in Lockett, Texas, she was the daughter of the late George Guggisberg and the late Marie Wenzel  Guggisberg. She was a graduate of Lockett High School; she was a banker and a homemaker. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Elizabeth is survived by her niece Julie Guggisberg Fancher and husband Danny of Vernon, Texas, great niece Krystal Fancher Smith and husband Trey, three great nephews Jarod Fancher, Jason Fancher and Justin Fancher and wife Sherry. One great-great niece Kaydence Smith, and four great-great nephews Keaton Kyle, Keith and Korey.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother Freddie and wife Mary Guggisberg.
