Elizabeth Nell Mayo, 64 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, in Vernon, Texas.

Graveside services will be held Friday, May 5, 2023, at 3:00 pm at Highland Cemetery in Iowa Park, Texas under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home with Rev. Luke Morrison officiating.

Liz was born Wednesday, April 15, 1959 in Quanah, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Elmo Graham and Melba Bates Graham. She married Albert Mayo August 31, 2002 in Vernon, Texas. Liz worked as a Nurse's Aide at local nursing homes and then at the North Texas State Hospital as a Nursing Assistant. She was a member of Western Trail Cowboy Church.

Liz is survived by her husband, Albert Mayo of the home; her mother, Melba Graham of Vernon, Texas; two sons, Shawn Feltman of Vernon, Texas and Adam Feltman of Vernon, Texas; four daughters, Bambi Feltman of Vernon, Texas, Rhonda Mayo, Amy Shipley and Amanda Schlegel; two brothers, Mike Graham of Iowa Park, Texas and Eddie Graham of Vernon, Texas. Liz also leaves behind seventeen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Liz was preceded in death by her first husband, Ronnie Feltman in 1988, and by her son, Chuck Mayo.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 4, 2023, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
