Emanuel Calvin Piper, 47 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022, in Vernon, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Saturday February 26, 2022, at 11:00 am at the Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Charlotte Hall Sparkman officiating. Burial will follow at the Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Emanuel was born Sunday, July 14, 1974, in Vernon, Texas, he was the son of the late Otis Calvin Piper and Betty Sue Jackson Piper. Emanuel served in the Army for four years and he was a welder and a truck driver. Emanuel was a member of the Masonic Lodge.

Emanuel is survived by his children Shelia Marie Piper of Willingboro, NJ, and Xavian Piper (Barnes)of Dallas, TX. His mother Betty Sue Piper of Vernon, TX., his brothers, Curwin Dewayne Piper of Granbury, TX, James Earl Piper of Phoenix, AZ., Keyair Hall of Amarillo, TX, and Jacobi White of Vernon, TX., his sisters Judy Bray of Phoenix, AZ., Debra Love of Grand Prairie, TX, Amy Green of Whitney, TX, Elva Mae Piper of Keller, TX, Markea Hall of Fort Worth, TX, Annber Bice of Carrollton, TX., and Shanicqua S. Piper of Grand Prairie, TX. His nieces, Jamela Love, Kearria Love, Precious Love, Esperrie Y'vonne Piper, Cimone Green, Kaylan Piper, Kerrigan Piper, Angie Jackson, Kecha Bray, Tiffany Benson, Lapeasha Smith Valicity Grier, Kaylissa Piper, and Anneliegh Piper, nephews, Orrin Green, Terry Moore, Ashton Piper, James Jr Piper, and Jourdan Piper and a host of great nieces and nephews.

Emanuel is preceded in death by his father Otis Calvin Piper, a sister Sherlyn Jackson, grandfather Arthur Davis Piper, grandmothers Elva Mae Piper, Mildred Wooley, and other loved ones Gussie Wooley, Linda Jackson, Dale Murray and Donnie Weaver.

Visitation will be held Friday from 6-7pm at the Sullivan Funeral Home.
